To Every Mother on This Journey: A Personal Note

Dear Mother,

I see you. I hear the words you don’t say.

You didn’t sign up for this, but here you are today.

This is not your fault. You did nothing wrong. And neither did your child.
It simply is. This is the journey that chose you.

When you’re in the throes of a meltdown, facing aggression, drained to your very core – you may wish it could all just be taken away.
You are allowed to feel every single emotion. Stay with it. Feel it. Cry if you must. Pray if you can. Do what helps you. There is no right way – only your way.

In time, acceptance will come. And one day, you’ll look back and see how this experience transformed you.
You’ll discover strength you didn’t know you had. Resilience you never imagined. Qualities forged only through the path you’ve walked. You are shaping your child’s life. Equipping them to navigate a world that wasn’t built with them in mind. That’s no small thing.

Believe in them. Understand their unique learning rhythm. Know this: your child, whether a child, teen, or adult – is brilliant. Maybe not in the ways the world measures genius. But you see it. You know it. That’s enough.

Teach them about the world- gently, patiently. No one else can do this the way you can. It takes the depth, love, and capacity only a parent holds.

And in all of this, don’t forget yourself.

You matter.

Your well-being is vital. Your role is sacred. You were chosen for this child.

Create a joyful home. Share your love with your other children, your partner, your family.
You can experience joy –  even amid the struggle.

You can feel empowered.

I walk beside you, in spirit.

With love,
Kamini
